Ways to fund

One application. The right fit.

We match your application to the option that fits your business — from working capital to a line of credit. Amounts, rates and terms depend on your revenue, time in business and credit, and are set by the funding provider.

Working capital

Fast funds to steady cash flow or cover an immediate need, repaid on a schedule that fits your sales.

3–24 months

Merchant cash advance

An advance repaid as a set share of your daily card sales — a fit for seasonal or fluctuating revenue.

Revenue-based

Line of credit

Draw, repay and redraw as you need it — you pay only on what you draw.

Revolving

Longer-term financing

For established businesses with a track record — larger amounts on longer terms for growth or expansion.

16–24 months

Equipment financing

Funds to repair, replace or purchase the equipment your business runs on.

Good to know

Common questions.

How much can I get?
Funding typically ranges from $5,000 to $600,000. Your amount is based on your revenue, time in business, credit and overall profile, and is set by the funding provider.
What are the terms?
Terms generally run from 3 to 24 months, with repayment structured to fit your cash flow. Your exact rate and term are determined by the funding provider for your file.
Do I qualify?
Most funded businesses have been operating 6+ months, take in roughly $20,000+ in monthly deposits, and the applying owner has a 550+ personal credit score. A personal guarantee is generally required. These are typical guidelines, not guarantees — final eligibility is set at underwriting.
What documents do I need?
A signed funding application and your most recent business bank statements (past 3 months; 4 months for California and New York). Please submit PDFs from your bank — not photos or screenshots — so your file can be reviewed quickly.
How fast is a decision?
Often quick — in many cases a response comes within a couple of business hours once your completed application and bank statements are in. Actual timing depends on your documentation and the funding provider.
When would I get funded?
After you review your offer and sign, approved funds are commonly sent by ACH as soon as the next business day. Timing depends on your bank and the funding provider.
What happens after I apply?
Your file is reviewed and you’ll typically get one of three outcomes: approved (sometimes with a request for a few more documents), a request for more information, or not approved. If approved, you review offer options, e-sign, and move to funding.
What industries do you fund?
A wide range. Some of the most commonly funded include restaurants and food service, professional and technical services, trade contractors, retail, repair and maintenance, residential remodeling, healthcare, personal care, and medical and dental offices. A few industries can’t be funded — ask us if you’re unsure.
Where is funding available?
We serve businesses across the United States. Availability of a specific product can vary by state, and final eligibility is set by the funding provider.
Can I save by paying off early?
Often, yes. Many offers reduce your remaining cost if you pay off early — generally the sooner you pay, the larger the savings. Whether an early-payoff discount applies, and how it is calculated, is set by the funding provider.
Will this help build my business credit?
In many cases, yes — on-time payments may be reported to major business credit bureaus such as Dun & Bradstreet and Experian Business, which can help strengthen your business credit profile.
Can I get more funding later?
Yes. Once you’ve paid down enough of your balance and are in good standing, returning customers can often renew for additional capital.
Is Canary a bank or a lender?
No. Canary Financial helps match your business with a funding provider. Approval, rates, terms, timing, and eligibility are determined solely by the funding provider, and submitting a request does not guarantee approval or funding.
